stupid thing gets addicting. bleh.

so my best friend amber's mom passed away from cancer this month. having lost grama the previous year, this is especially close to home. how much do i hate that damn disease!

i put in my notice at the gym, which is where i sit as i type. today is my last day, after almost 2.5 years! will i miss it? yeah. will i miss getting up at 6:30am on saturday mornings? hell no! but i DO need to get my butt exercising again. by hook or by crook i will do it!

i should at least pretend to work now. but check out my myspace blogs for other assorted crap.

busy busy busy!

work, work, work...i think that's about all i do anymore. plus, on top of that i have a class now too. good thing i have no life, cuz i would REALLY not have one now! lol

on a good note, my car passed DEQ with the lowest levels it's ever posted...somehow. so now i have up to two more years to save money and replace it...which means i could end up with one nice car! we'll see what happens, but i'm hoping to save enough for a civic si.

oy, what a month!

i've been working full time at my job, and am now almost done with my 5th week there! what a learning experience lol. it's a lotta work, but it's pretty fun for the most part. i've done the biggest part of my training so far, but it made for a long week this week, with 8 hour a day of training, plus the rest of my swing shift to fill for a couple days, PLUS my 11.5-hour saturdays on top of it. what a schedule! only bad thing is that my working out has gotten pushed to the side since i started working...and that will have to get fixed asap!

we might have a buyer for my grama's house! i'm sad to see it go, but at the same time, if it must, it must. the Buick has yet to be sold, but then again, someone *dad* has yet to take it out of the driveway. bleh.

I GOT A FULL-TIME JOB! and what's more, it's the one i wanted! so this Friday i go to Lake Oswego for orientation. I can't wait! Finally, a full-time job I'll enjoy, and some MONEY! which means a car! although it won't be a brand new one, it'll be one i can pay off and save up for a brand new one before i move out again this fall most likely. YAY!

well, what a past month and a half...and not a good one either.

first off, my grama lost her fight with cancer. let me just say what a horrible thing cancer is. i know the 'well duh' part is obvious, but until you see it really take someone down...i dunno. it was hard, and she didn't deserve it, not that most people do. at the relay for life in molalla (that is done for people with cancer- survivors and non both) someone lit a luminary for her (it's a candle in a small white bag with the person's name on it, in honor/memory of them), which i really appreciated. my cousin becca and her steve-o lookalike boyfriend adam graduated from Oregon City HS and their graduation party was the night of the relay, and i had to work the next morning, or i woulda walked in it. but i'm still glad someone did that for grama. she deserved it, and i miss her.

school is DONE for the summer. i have one more term with a couple oddball classes and i'm done...for a while anyway. none too soon i might add.

i quit my job in silverton and am now searching for fulltime work. i have a place i'm really trying for, and have the number and the contact name so i'm gonna go for it. heres to hopin.

ambers birthday was today, but we celebrated it on saturday at tachos and wichita (of course). it was fun, even tho i was across the street playing pool with jon and joe most of the time lol. today me, amber, jolene and the kids all went to dinner at red robin and then shopping at old navy.

good times...

whew...u'd have thought i had forgotten about this thing. no such luck, just been uberbusy.

noteables from the last month-ish:

~i turned 25 april 20th. yup, i'm officially a quarter century old now
~school trudges along. slowly. dammat.
~i DID make the president's list for my 4.0, so i now how a fancy-shmancy little letter on the fridge saying so
~my grama's cancer is back, and bad. she's homebound, so i have that on my mind
~amber moved back home to help out, since her mom has cancer as well.
~i now fit into pants 2 sizes smaller...and i mean 'fit', not squeeze...so i have a kinda-new wardrobe i'm playing with
~i got asked to dance the other night. by a guy. a cute guy. musta been the pants lol
~i'm planning a cruise to the caribbean with my friend heather that i work with, although i'm trying to get a bunch of people to go to. 7 nights, out of new orleans...i know I'M gonna have fun!
~i'm gonna lose 50 more pounds before my cruise. i'm determined.
~i'm apparently going to sell avon to help raise $ for my cruise, as well as a new car. plus, i won't buy as much myself...theoretically.

i'm sure there's more but i'm tired and have homework to do lol good times.

I GOT A 4.0 THIS TERM!! WOOHOO!! 16 credits, all 300-400 level classes...i now have a PSU GPA of 3.84...not too shabby, all things considered...this should get me onto the President's list again.

next term is gonna be just as bad...16 credits, mostly 400 level classes...we'll see what happens...
